Notes: First session with newly aluminised mirrors. Tiny, but easy to see with DV. Appears round at x120, irregularities are revealed at x260. The irregularities suggest a roundish halo with a triangular core narrowing to the S which oddly is the reverse of what shows in CCD images. I do not have my cardinal points mixed up! I saw hints of other detail that were too vague and fleeting to attempt to draw. |
