Notes: Egg-shaped with the long axis lying ENE-WSW and the pointed end to the N. The oval central hole is bright compared to the background sky, and offset to the N end. This end of the nebula is less well defined, fuzzier and a little fainter than the rest of it. The 15th magnitude central star could not be found. Although bright, there is no colour in the nebula. |
