Viewed near the meridian but the southerly declination means it is compromised by the low elevation. The sky background is very bright. There is no resolution of the cluster into stars, it is not even grainy. I see just a round mist with very little central condensation. The observed diameter is only about 3 or 4 arcmin so I am only seeing the central region.
