Notes: Moderately easy. Round core and halo are evenly lit, no mottling. Halo fades gently into the background. To the N and NE the halo extends further out. These patches were seen readily at the start of the observation but became more difficult. I was left with the impression of dark structure in the vicinity. In the drawing, the faintest star required AV. It is magnitude 14.6 per Megastar. My patches are not the loops which Arp noted, they are located in part beyond this star. |
