Notes: Difficult, even with the Deep Sky filter and despite its catalogued magnitude and the decent weather conditions. Tried the Lumicon UHC filter but it made the galaxy disappear. It is classic “breath on a mirror”. Its shape is like this ‘D’, not like a half-moon. The straight side is aligned NNW-SSE. |
