Notes: Very few stars in this locality. Both galaxies are easily seen. NGC 772 is a bright, round non-stellar core off-centre in an oval, large, tenuous halo. There is no hint of arms or other structure. NGC 770 is a bright, evenly lit oval. The major axis is not quite aligned with the core of NGC 772. |
