Notes: Many galaxies in this area. Spent 40 minutes studying the wrong galaxy! ARP80 was seen as an oval haze oriented NS with a prominent central bar. The N end of the bar bends off to the NW. I saw suggestions of structure in the halo but did not detect Arp’s HSB companion. NGC 2634 was seen to the S in the same eyepiece field. |
