Notes: As is often the case at this time of year, transparency overhead is good with NELM better than 5.5m and Milky Way on view but below about 30 degrees it becomes progressively milkier. A decent view in spite of the conditions. The main part of the nebula really does look comet-like. There is a bright star on the edge of the field, to the N. |
