Notes: There is a lot of moisture in the air, giving a hazy view, and equipment is running with dew. This is the Dumbell Nebula. To me it would be better named the Apple Core. The two bright lobes are set in a lemon-shaped halo. The W end of the halo is brighter than E. There are many faint stars in the field, not all plotted in the drawing. |
