Notes: There is a lot of moisture in the air, giving a hazy view, and equipment is running with dew. This eyepiece provides my largest field, 50 arcmins, but it is not enough to place this cluster in its wider setting, so the cluster effect is not obvious. This is especially so as it is set in the Milky Way. There are a score of conspicuously bright stars seeminly grouped in pairs and trios, against a rich backdrop of fainter stars. |
