Notes: Not seen. This is my first attempt to observe an Arp object located as far south as minus 30 degrees declination. From here it never gets higher than 8º. I have an unrestricted southern horizon. Despite searching for 20 minutes either side of culmination I could not even identify the correct star field. This appears to be due to atmospheric extinction and haze etc aggravating light pollution.
