Notes: At first I confused this galaxy with what turned out to be NGC 2619. Arp 12 is difficult due to its low surface brightness. First impression was of an oval haze oriented E-W. Further scrutiny suggested an “integral sign” galaxy but with the W arm missing. There is an inconspicuous non‑stellar nucleus. |
