Notes: Stephan’s Quintet. Elusive details in the drawing have been accumulated over many hours of observation. 7317: (13.6m) a round haze alongside a 12th mag field star. 7318A (14.3m) and B (13.9m) in contact, B is slightly elongated. 7319 (13.1m) shaped like a keystone, widest at SE end. There is a barely visible loop on the E side. 7320: (13.2m) the largest in the group, elongated 5:2 NE-SW and without a nucleus. There is an extremely faint patch extending to SE. 7320C (16.7m) was not seen at any time. |
