Viewed with the telescope aperture stopped down to 125mm unobstructed due to the terrible seeing. Used both 17mm and 8mm eyepieces. The view was best in the 17mm.  The cluster is set in a sparse field. It was fairly well resolved giving the impression of a starburst firework seen from a great distance. The faint, hazy halo could be traced out several core diameters, especially to the E.
