Notes: I intended to observe Mars this evening but the seeing is terrible. Turning to M72 which is at about the same altitude as Mars, I had a poor view of what seems to be an unremarkable object. The cluster is broadly concentrated towards the centre and lacks a bright nucleus. There is an 8th mag. star about 15 or 20 mins NNE. |
